Baby Shower!!

Saturday (the 20th) was a very fun day!! My mother-in-law Julie, Sister-in-law Erin, and I threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law Toni. I think it turned out so great! Everything just seemed to work out perfectly. I have many pictures to share of the party and all of us women!!

We had lots of yummy treats and drinks to enjoy during the celebration!

Here are the fun gifts we got for the games. There are combinations of baby lotions, baby powders, wet wipe packs, and many more fun things that you always need on hand!! Here is the cute diaper cake that Julie and Erin made! I absolutely loved it! It was so cute!!!!!! It was decorated with all pink and brown and had outfits and toys and everything on it! I especially loved the topper. What a cute stuffed animal!! It was amazing!!Here is what Gary, Regie, and I gave Toni. It is two bibs with matching burp cloths that I made. They have flannel on the top and terry cloth on the bottom. I love how they turned out. I also made her a blanket!

After the party was over and everyone left, Gary headed out to go hunting. He actually headed up to the mountains on Monday morning but he hunted down on the river a few nights. He got all camo-downed and gave me a smile and a kiss and headed off to go hunting. He looks so handsome in his hunting gear! This was the last time I saw him for a week!!


After Gary headed out I got all packed up and Regie and I headed back for Glenns Ferry. My sister Jessica was going to watch Regie from Sunday until Thursday for me since Gary was going to be gone hunting. Normally I wouldn't let her go but because I had a care plan due on Wednesday and a test on Thursday that I hadn't had the chance to start on either I decided that it probably was a good idea to get help. Well that was the plan. After leaving Firth I may have had a "SMALL" emotional break down. I think everything finally all hit at once. Gary was going to be gone for a week, Regie was going to be gone for four days, I wanted to stay and play with Gary and his family, I needed to study and work on my care plan, and I had already drove for four hours in the last 24 and I had four more hours to go..... I think I kinda lost it. I may have cried the whole way home. Around Pocatello or American Falls the plans changed. I was talking to my mom and dad and they told me to come and stay with them. My parents said that they would watch Regie until Tuesday and then Jessica would take her home until Thursday. It all ended up working out. It saved me around three hours of driving and I got alot of studying done. I also got feed alot of yummy food. Regie loved the corn on the cob!!

The rest of the week flew by! Regie enjoyed her grandparents and then her aunt and uncle! She pretty much got spoiled (in a good way)! Gary was safe and very much enjoyed his vacation! I finished my care plan and passed my test! Its funny now looking back and seeing how emotional I was, and now feeling the relief. Regie and I spent a night at Jessica and Adam's beautiful house on Thursday and Gary came up and joined us for Friday night! We had alot of fun! It is so good to have my family back, I really missed them!!! Poor Regie girl got so worn out from her fun week that she fell asleep this afternoon loving on her babies while watching cartoons! What a sweet girl!!!

I'm back!

So.. I have lots to catch up on. I do have a good reason though on why I haven't posted forever! I have been very busy! Last Friday afternoon I drove to Glenns Ferry to get my awesome new Expedition, than that night I drove all the way to Firth so that I could help with the baby shower on Saturday. On Saturday we threw my sister-in-law a really fun baby shower and then Regie and I headed off to Burley that night! My original plan was to head all the way back to Glenns Ferry that night but because of a slight emotional break down plans changed a little. But in the end everything worked out great and my week flew by so fast that I can't believe that tomorrow is already Monday again!!

So I will start at the beginning which was when Regie and I headed for Glenns Ferry to get our new vehicle. I thought it appropriate to give Regie a sucker on the way there because I knew once we were in our new car I probably wouldn't want her to eat sticky anythings! So here is my sweet girl enjoying her last car sucker (well for a little while anyways).

Pink Eye!

Our poor girl woke up with pink eye this morning! It was so sad! She couldn't even open her eye. We ended up going to the doctors and getting some eye drops! It already looks twice as good as it did this morning. I think the four hour nap this afternoon helped! I hate when my little one gets sick! It breaks my heart!!

That yucky gunck just doesn't go away no matter how many times I wipe her eye. (Which she hates by the way!!) Well I'm off to disinfect my house some more!!!

Exciting News and Life!

I am getting a new vehicle!! When my sister Jessica won her a new truck awhile back she decided that she didn't need two vehicles anymore!! SO I am going to buy her FORD EXPEDITION!!! I have always loved this car! It is amazing! It has a DVD player, a sun roof, and even a navigation system! I am totally going to need a tutorial on how to use everything! With my old car I was so excited when the CD player worked so this is a MAJOR upgrade!!! It still doesn't feel real, and I am sure that it won't for awhile but I couldn't be more excited!!! YEAH again! I feel like a gitty little girl!! I go and get it tomorrow! I will be posting many pictures I am sure! I do have to say though that my old car has been a good one for the last 7 years! It was also so nice to have it payed off (thanks Dad and Mom!) I can't wait to sit in my new one though. I may even sleep in it for awhile! :) It is truley my dream car! And it is mine tomorrow! Okay I will stop!

Now for some pictures...because I can! The other day we were having some fun with a clothes basket. Gary and I were taking turns on giving Regie rides. She was in heaven!! She thought it was the coolest (funniest) thing ever!
