Time to catch up!

It was a very relaxing weekend. On Friday Regie and I went and bought her a new highchair! She really likes it. She thinks she is a big girl now!

She got really excited when I started taking pictures! She is such a sweetie! While I was at Target getting the high chair, I ran into my best friend from high school! Kashayla! I haven't seen her for a year or so. She came over to the house and we visited for hours. It was great! Her daughter is such a cutie!

On Saturday Gary and I cooked a turkey for the first time! It was really a fun experience! We also had mashed red potatoes, gravy, corn, and stuffing! Regie tasted potatoes and gravy for the first time! She loved it. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Around that time I received a tearful call from my little sister Abbie. She just got back from the emergency room. She broke her wrist while cheering the night before. My mom and dad were out of town so Gary, Regie and I packed up the leftovers and headed to Burley. We ended up playing a few rounds of Racko and watched a movie all of us. I think we cheered Abbie up a little! I hope!

Today I was a little emotional. School started back up for me. I got spoiled over the summer getting to spend so much time with Regie! Gary, the wonderful husband that he is, knew that I was a little blue. He came home with all of my favorite treats for my bag. He and Regie also came in with the most beautiful flowers. He always knows exactly what I need! He even bought me bubble bath!!! Man how I love him!!!

How lucky am I! We ended the evening watching Wild Hogs. I love the time we have together!

Sad Day!

So I had a very sad day yesterday! I had to take my beautiful daughter to the emergency room! We had an accident and she ended up biting her tounge. The poor thing. I haven't cried that much for a long time, if ever! What had happened is that she loves to sit up on the bathroom cupboard and laugh at herself in the mirror. Well I was standing right behind her, but I leaned over to get something from under the sink and of course she copied me and toppled over and before I knew it she was on her way to the floor. Even thinking about it right now makes me sick to my stomach! I could start crying again. It was bad enough that she fell, but than she started bleeding from her mouth. I tried to call Gary but there was no answer so I called my dad and by that time I was past panicked. I couldn't breath or talk, all I could do was cry. I packed her up and headed to the hospital. When I got into the car I called Gary's work and all I could say was "she fell and she is bleeding!" He hung up on me and called me when he was to his truck! He made it to the hospital before I did! After getting her checked up on, the doctor said she was fine and that her tounge should be healed in about 2-3 days. Good thing Gary was at the hospital, because I was crying too hard to get much out. She took a nap and woke up a little sad but after eating again, she was her happy self. She has a couple of scratches on her face, but her head is fine from bonking it. Her tounge looks sore though! Which I can only imagine that it is! I can't love on her enough, she probably can't wait for Daddy to get home so that she can get away from me for awhile! I don't think I will forgive myself for awhile, if I ever will.

School Time

I was reading Lisa Bearnson's blog, and she was talking about how she is sad that her kids are going back to school. I have some similar feelings but in an almost opposite way. I am the one going back to school. The reason that I am sad, is that I will miss my girl during the day while I am at school. It is only for 13 hours a week. But to me, right now, it feels like 13 hours a day! The thing is that the day time is our time! When daddy gets home she becomes a daddy's girl! Can't say that I blame her. I know that 13 hours won't be bad at all, I just hope that when we are home that I have enough time for studying, because I know all I will want to do is to play with her! We will just have to see how it all works out! The good thing is that I won't have to worry if she is happy while I am gone. Regie girl will be staying at my sister Jennifer's house. I know that 100% she will be taking care of and loved on, by Jennifer and her kids! Jennifer just told me the other day that Regie will have her own shelf in her cousin Jaycee's closet. So I made some silly things to make her shelf fun!

I am sure that I will think of something else to decorate before school starts!

Recent Scrapbook Pages

I absolutely love to scrapbook! I really enjoy sitting down and messing with pictures and paper until I get a finished project. I can say that I think my pages may be considered simple compared to others, but that is what I love. I want my pictures to be the main focus. I just hope when someone looks at my book that they enjoy it! I do know for a fact that I need to get better with my journaling. I should write more on each page!! That is something I will be working on from now on!

This one is fun because there are four parts that move up and have pictures underneath them. I had so many pictures that I wanted to use, so I made room! Here is what it looks like with the other pictures showing.

I can't believe how much Regie has changed. She is growing so fast! What a sweet baby girl!
