Regie girl had her 2 year check up today. The doctor said she was a healthy girl! Which is always a good thing to hear! She now weighs 23 pounds and is over 34 inches in length. She finally made it above the 5th percentile for her weight, barely. Gary and I think she is pretty darn perfect, but I guess we may be a little partial. Luckily she didn't have to get a shot today because they ran out. She may not be so lucky next time.
I guess I better give a little more information about our future addition. I am a little over 15 weeks pregnant. I am due June 21st. We are all very excited. I will be able to finish nursing school and maybe even get my NCLEX test in. I am doing some major organization and rearranging before school starts back up, because I know I wont have much time after. We are changing rooms for Regie and we want to get it done right away so that she has plenty of time to adjust. I have a feeling that because this last semester is broken up into three five week intervals, I think this pregnancy is going to go by very quickly. Maybe even too fast. I hope I get prepared!! Well I promise to keep you updated!! Your welcome to pass on any good advice for me. I may have one child, but who knows what two will bring.

Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday! We even started early!! Gary surprised me Tuesday morning when he didn't have to go to work. We enjoyed breakfast as a family and then we did a little last minute shopping. We then packed everything up and wrapped the gifts we had left while Regie girl took a nap. We arrived at my parents just in time to enjoy the Boise State football game. We were both sad that they lost. But it was a good game. Regie girl woke up early on Christmas eve morning. So the two of us got up and let daddy sleep in. That morning my mother and I had a great time cooking and visiting. We got alot done before everyone else woke up for the day! We made stuffing and tons of very yummy homemade candy. It was so nice to spend time with my mother! The rest of the day was also very enjoyable. We played lots of cards and some other very fun games. (You have to try both Backseat Drawings and Quip It!!) Abbie and I even a little dancing with Regie girl. Regie got tons of attention and she loved it all! Her and Aunt Jo did some major bonding!! It was so fun to laugh and play with my family!
Regie girl dancing!
Here is a cute video of Regie and Aunt Jo playing and laughing! They did this all night long!! I love Regie's laugh!!!

Troy and Jennifer's family showed up at about 11:30 on Christmas Eve. We laid all of the kids down and visited for awhile.
On Christmas morning, Gary and I woke about around 7:30 and we were so excited we couldn't go back to sleep. But no one else was awake yet, so we snuck up stairs so that we wouldn't wake Regie up with our excitement. You would think as adults we would have sleep in, but we are still kids at heart. Abbie came out of her room because she was also very excited!! We tried to keep ourselves occupied while we waited....
My mom was a few minutes behind us, so while we waited for everyone else we played a couple of hands of cards. Finally around 8:15 Regie woke up and her cousins were about 10 minutes behind her.
Regie and Papa warming up in front of the fire. Regie was so excite to see her cousins.
Regie loved her Santa gifts! He did a great job!
She especially loves her June doll. (June is from her favorite show, Little Einsteins!) She has spent alot of time with her since!!
She had to try everything out! Of course!!!
After we finally all got dressed for the day, alot more playing happened!!
My mom made a wonderful Christmas dinner! With turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy, corn, stuffing, noodles, and much more! She is such a great cook!! And everything tasted so great!!!
The adults stayed up for a few more hours playing those fun games again! We laughed so hard. It was the best way ever to end an already great day!!!

We all had a great time, and again got spoiled! We ended the night playing some games and then we got all the kids dressed in their pj's that grandma and grandpa got them! They were all pink and brown! The kids looked so very cute!! Of course we had to take pictures!! Thanks again to Toni for sharing her pictures!!
As the day came to an end the kids did a little more playing before we laid them all down. The girls hid in the tunnel while watching the dogs outside.
On Friday morning we decided to face the bad weather and roads and headed off to Firth. We made is safely and we started to enjoy instantly!! I got to love on my handsome nephew and that is always a great start!! We waited for all the family to get together and then we opened presents together!! It was fun to all be together! My camera was left in the car (I know, it surprises me too!) so I stole some pictures from Toni. Here are the cute princess outfits that Toni made the girls..
Regie posing!
Aren't these two cuter than can be! They are both so cuddly!! I got to love on them both! A major plus!!
Here are the four of them! They are all so very cute!! Regie was so excited to hold Laeni!! She felt like such a big girl!! She asked to hold them both many times through out the rest of the weekend!!
These last two pictures are my favorites! Like I said, Regie was so excited and proud to be holding Laeni. You can see it in her eyes!!! She even gave her a kiss! What sweet girls!!
We relaxed the rest of the weekend and enjoyed just being together! We played more games and watched a movie here and there! It was all perfect! We woke up this morning and got packed up and ready to head on the road. Regie got to open her birthday presents from her grandparents and cousins. She got more fun gifts!! She loved them all!! She even got a baby cradle from her great-grandparents!! He hand made it, and it is beautiful!! I swear that she is going to go through with drawls after opening so many presents through out the last week!! I guess that is going to happen when you have a Christmas baby!! We got home and unpacked and put together her presents, and she has been playing since!! Life is good! And I am glad that all of our family was and is safe!!
Oh, by the way....... we let our families know that we are expecting baby #2!! Surprise!!!

Birthday Fun and a Christmas Party
First of all, I can't believe I have a two year old! And I know that she isn't really older than she was three days ago, but she seems older. Everything about her seems older and more of a little girl rather than a baby!! She is so wonderful! I don't know what Gary and I ever did without her! She is the best ever!!!
On her birthday, Regie woke up so happy and ready to play! Gary and I sang to her and she loved it! She was ready for a fun day!!
This is her modeling her new purse and sunglasses. I thought she looked very stylish!! (Thanks Jensen family!)
She put on a few coats of her pretend lipstick....
and then she painted everyone's nails.

Thanks Mom, Dad, Abbie Jo, and Jensen family for coming and celebrating with us! She loved having you all there!

Daddy putting together her new toys.
Grandpa taking a phone call.
She thought her candle was pretty cool!! She also loved when everyone sang to her!

I love this picture!!!!
Enjoying her second cupcake of the evening! (She liked the frosting the most!)

She had a great birthday party! Thank you family!!! We missed all who couldn't make it do to weather issues!

Regie in her new birthday pj's! She was so tired and worn out. She had a very fun and busy day!!!
The next day we all got ready for the family Christmas party. Regie even helped Papa make some deviled eggs.

We had alot of fun at my Grandparent's house! All the family was there! (Minus a few here and there! Who we missed) There are alot of us! Regie looked very cute in her new birthday outfit! Thanks Mom, Dad, and Abbie!!
After her party we all packed up and headed for Burley. (We had a party to go to the next morning.) As you can see........ we had some tired little ones. They watched Regie's new Little Mermaid movie.
In all, we had a great weekend! Nohing like two parties!! I can't wait for Christmas! I still have some wrapping to do! Other than that I am ready for some fun and family!! I hope everyone is safe during the holidays!!!
