What a great week!

What a wonderful week to ease me into what I am guessing is going to be a busy and maybe not so wonderful week. I did alot of relaxing, playing with Regie and then laughing and playing games with Gary. I also did get some of my goals done but not all of them! I worked on scrapbook pages, but I only got one digital page completely done and two non-digital pages started.
Here is my digital layout! I love these pictures!!
I will post my others when they get done. (Who knows when that will be?) I did get alot of reading done! Not the full first two weeks! But the first for sure! Which I feel good about! I also did keep up with my house! It's not perfect by any means, but I am okay with where it is! I did not finish Regie's room. I hardly left the house let alone going shopping for curtains, pink satin, or anything like that! I will get it done though! Eventually!!

Now on to the fun parts of the week and weekend. I got to spend so much time with my girl and I loved every minute of it! We did alot of bonding! It was perfect!! When Gary got home he joined in as well! One night we played with Play Doh. It was Regie's first time! She was in heaven! She thought it was the coolest thing ever and she loved that we played with her! Gary and I had fun as well! We had a little challenge! Who could make the coolest thing! It ended up that we both made a food item! You will have to vote and say which one you like more! (She just got out of the bath so her hair is a little messy!)

This one is Gary's! He made spaghetti with sauce and a salad!

Regie liked it!

Mine was pizza with blue cheese and a glass of water!

I love this picture even though Regie closed her eyes!

After playing we watched a movie and enjoyed Regie's favorite treat right now! POPCORN! We found these perfect little packages that pop the perfect amount for her! And she loves it!!!

On Saturday we tried a new hair style! I thought it turned out so cute!

We also went to a new place that day! There is this fun place for kids here in town. It is called Hop 2 It! It is a big building full of bouncy (very large) toys! All different sizes and kinds! We had heard about it a couple of times and we really wanted to go check it out! It was great! Regie loved it! I took my camera but didn't get any pictures because this place was packed!! And I mean packed!!! I guess this was the busiest they have ever been! Obviously we weren't the only people to hear about it! We didn't stay very long because of how packed it was, but we will for sure be going again! That night Regie and daddy had fun with some bowls! They were cracking me up so bad! I had to share some pictures!

It was a perfect week and weekend to help me start back up! Oh, and another really great thing that happened this weekend. I started feeling the baby! I love that feeling so very much! I was so excited I tried to get Gary to feel it. He laughed at me because I would tap on his hand every time I felt the baby so he said "Honey I can't tell the difference between you tapping my hand and the baby!" I had to laugh! He didn't feel the baby but I hope he will soon!

One last thing, tonight as we were eating dinner we noticed a few guests out behind our house. Regie thought it was so cool. So did Gary and I. There are 3 bucks and 3 does. A fun way to end a day!

Wish me luck for tomorrow. I am excited and nervous! My sister-in-law told me that it is my last time saying that this is going to be my first day of school! I hadn't thought about it that way before, I kinda like it! I still hope all goes well for both Regie and myself. I will let you know how it all worked out!

Goals and the Potty

Okay. So I don't start school until next tuesday! (YAH!) So I am making myself some goals for the week. I would like to emphasise that I said "goals", not plans set in stone! I hope that I get them done, because I am actually very excited about them. So here are my goals for the week:

1: I would like to complete one scrapbook page per day.
2: I would like to finish my nursing reading for the first week, maybe two?
3: I would like to do one more cleaning run down on the house before school starts.
4: I would like to finish Regie's room. Which includes curtains, something artish above her crib, and a new pink satin pillow case.

Okay so that's my goal list. Wish me luck.

Now on to the potty news. Before the Christmas holiday, Regie used her potty for a whole week and a half to go #2. She liked it too! She was proud of herself and was even excited to do it! She really didn't figure out the whole #1 thing for sure. We were so very excited!! But since the holidays we haven't been so lucky. At her two year appointment the doctor warned us that this would happen, but I so badly wanted him to be wrong! She has even started to hide when she goes potty sometimes now! Darn it! Well we aren't pushing the subject so that she starts to hate it. So we still ask her frequently if she needs to use it. We even go in their and try once in awhile and before her baths. So if anyone has any helpful tips, I am all ears. I am sure it will happen when its suppose to, but it felt so close there for awhile!

Well I am off. I am going to start working on those goals!!

Socks and Scrapbooking

Well on Tuesday I finally got all caught up with my house, laundry, and all of that fun yucky stuff. At that time I realized I had three tall laundry baskets full of clean socks! I will admit, I hate matching socks. If I could I would buy new socks instead of matching old ones! I hate it that bad. So Tuesday night after Regie went to bed Gary and I spent over an hour matching socks! Luckily I had Gary to help me out or I probably would have gotten defeated!
On Wednesday I had my 16 week check up! Everything looks great they said, and I even heard the babies heart beat. I love that part! I got to make my appointment for the 20 week ultrasound! So on February 6th we find out what we are having! We couldn't be more excited!!

So since I got all caught up with my house, I have been doing a little scrapbooking during Regie's naps. I am excited on how they turned out! I haven't scrapbooked for ever it feels like. I forget how much I love it! You will have to tell me what you think.

I can't remember Regie this small! This page made me very excited for our upcoming little addition!

I did this page a couple of months ago. I probably need to add something to it, at least some words or something. But I kind of like the simplicity of it! I am not sure yet!

Well the real world starts in about 11 days. (School that is.) So I hope I get a couple more pages in before then. I probably should start doing my reading so that I am ahead! We will see.

Cravings!

I have officially figured out what my pregnancy cravings are. Lemons and Limes, which is not a surprise because that is what it was with Regie. But I also have been craving spicy. Such as jalapenos, and spicy soups and such. I had a hot dog at my in-laws a couple of weekends ago with ketchup and jalapenos and I thought I was in heaven! So I am thinking that my dream meal right now would be a hot dog with ketchup and jalapenos with a virgin margarita! Now doesn't that just sound wonderful? Or is it just me? Speaking of hot dogs I saw on a website the other day that you shouldn't eat them while you are pregnant. Is that just an old wife's tale or has any one else ever heard of that?

And because I hate to have a post without pictures here are some pictures that we took the night we found out that we were pregnant! The date was 10-13-08!

Family Time!!

We had a very enjoyable last couple of weeks! You saw our Christmas and since then we have been spending alot of our time as a family. With a couple of welcome additions during this weekend! We have spent alot of the time organizing and rearranging! We did get Regie's room switched over and I no longer have an office/scrapbook room. But its okay because I truly never scrapbooked in there, I always brought my stuff out in the living room anyways. So now it is all neatly organized in a closet where it is very accessible! I took before pictures of everything but I haven't yet taken the after pictures. I want to add a curtain and a few other things. So that will be an upcoming post. But I did get some pictures of Regie's new table after we sat it up. Her and her daddy had a tea party. It was very cute!! She got this awesome table from her Aunt Jessy and Uncle Adam. She loves it! And it goes perfectly in her room!!

What a handsome man!!!
She was so proud of her table and toys!
On New Years we spent the night together and we even watched a movie. It was nice, quiet, and perfect.

On Friday morning, Gary's mom and sister came to visit! It was so nice to have Julie, Erin, Addison, and Jace here with us. We had such a great time. We had a fun lunch at Johnny Carinos and then we did some shopping. Gary even watched all three kids at one point while us three girls went to the mall for an hour and a half. He did a great job and handled it like a champ. Always a great sign when baby #2 is on the way. I wasn't worried though. He is an amazing dad already!! We got some great shopping done and I got three new shirts. I love them! It was great!! At one point during the day Gary had the camera and had a little fun teasing us. So here are some pictures from Gary's view.

This one is the best out of the bunch!!
The girls had so much fun together! They love each other so much! They played with all of Regie's new toys. The tent and tunnels were their favorite! As you can see Regie's hair enjoyed it just as much!!

Regie got to love on Jace a few times during their stay! She asked many times to hold him. I am glad that she loves babies! I hope that attitude stays!
Again, Regie loving on Jace. But this time Addison was checking him out also!

We really enjoyed them while they were here, and we missed them as soon as they left. We loved having them come this way and we know its not easy with little ones. Especially two little ones! So thanks Julie and Erin for spending your weekend with us! We love you!!

Today we relaxed and enjoyed each other some more. We also visited with the Jensen family for a while during Jaycee's birthday party. After the party we got home and played and laughed! We were having so much fun that we decided to add the camera to the mix. I love times like this when you get a little bit of your life on file. I hope Regie will always remember these times when we play for hours and just love on each other. I remember them.

I sure do love my family!! I am very lucky!
