Fettuccini Alfredo Recipe

Here is our recipe for Fettuccini Alfredo. Very inexpensive and good! Here is what you will need (Recipe feeds 4):

1 Cube of Butter
1 Pint of Heavy Cream
1 7 oz. Container of Parmesean Cheese (will only be using half)
1 Package of Fetuccini Noodles

Optional Additions:
1 Clove of Garlic
Sliced Mushrooms
Atricoke Hearts Quartered
Zucchini Thinly Sliced (Not in picture becuase we just tried this the last time we cooked it. It was very good.)

You start by cooking the noodles as per box instructions, which takes about 12 - 16 minutes. If you are going to add mushrooms, zucchini, or artichoke hearts start sautéing in seperate pan now. When the noodles have 8 minutes left start melting one cube of butter in a third pan with one clove of garlic chopped up. (The garlic is optional, but Gary and I really like what it adds.)

Once the butter has melted completely add whole pint of heavy cream. Bring to boil and than let simmer for five munutes. Stirring continuously. (Heavy cream can burn fast!!) Reduce heat and add half of the parmesean cheese.

Drain noodles and add them to the sauce. At this time if you have any veggies add now. Mix it all up and you are done!!!

It is wonderful. Cook some garlic cresent rolls or garlic bread while cooking pasta. Eat and enjoy!!!
